RX Laces
For this project, the goal was to create a brand of shoe laces that were packaged like old prescription medication. After researching many pharmaceutical labels from the early 1900s, a label design was created in Adobe Illustrator. These labels were then printed and then attached to antique style amber glass jars.
One problem that was encountered was that because of the amber colored glass, the colors of the shoelaces were very difficult to see. A solution was made by attaching labels with the âRXâ logo in corresponding colors to the lids of the glass jars.
